Colby T. Helms & The Virginia Creepers
Raised in the Blue Ridge foothills of Southwest Virginia, Helms launched his career as a teenager, writing raw and ragged songs that drew from the people, places, stories, and struggles that shaped him. If his debut album chronicled his own experience, then One for the Losers widens the frame by looking outward. Across a dozen tracks, Helms shines a light on the overlooked and misunderstood characters who've crossed his path, from troubled friends and fallen mentors to moonshiners, immigrants, and working-class Virginians trying to survive in a world that threatens to leave them behind.
Country. Bluegrass. Folk. Helms' interpretation of American mountain music bears the fingerprints of them all. Largely recorded in Nashville with producer David "Ferg" Ferguson, the album is as diverse as its influences, balancing electric full-band performances with intimate, stripped-back recordings that place Helms' storytelling front and center. For Helms, that balance feels like an extension of a childhood spent on the borderlines, embracing the grey areas between social groups.

Lynne Hanson
From Canada to the Stage at Loft 129… Lynne Hanson!
Too tough for folk and too blues-influenced for country, Lynne Hanson’s brand of porch music with a little red dirt can turn on a dime from a sunshine, blue sky ballad to a full on thunderstorm of gritty Americana swamp from one song to the next. Her hard living music has garnered her the nickname “Canada’s Queen of Americana.” And while her deep, bluesy croon has drawn comparisons to Lucinda Williams and Gillian Welch, it’s the poetry of her lyrics that really sets her apart.
Winner of two Canadian Folk Music Awards, Hanson is known for her high energy, roots guitar driven live performances, whether playing solo or with her band the Good Intentions. She has an uncanny way of connecting with her audience with an authenticity that is as entertaining as it is disarming.
The prolific songwriter has released nine studio albums along with two books of poetry over her 18 year solo career. She’s toured extensively across North America, Europe and the UK, and appeared at leading international festivals including Take Root (Netherlands), Glasgow Americana (Scotland), Maverick Festival (UK), Kerrville Folk Festival (US), and Winnipeg Folk Festival (Canada). She has also toured as support for Grammy-nominated artists like Gretchen Peters, Steve Forbert and Albert Lee.
Lynne Hanson released her tenth studio album “Just A Poet” in Spring 2024. The album has been nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award for Contemporary Album of the Year.

Sugar Lime Blue
The Duo of Ashley and Dave Beth are the heart and soul behind Sugar Lime Blue, a band long known for its genre-defying blend of Americana, blues, folk, and jam-infused rock. Now touring as a duo, the couple has distilled over a decade of musical chemistry, road-tested experience, and deep artistic connection into a raw, intimate performance style that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
Their journey began not in a studio or on a stage, but around kitchen tables and fires—trading songs, stories, and dreams. What started as a shared passion quickly evolved into a full-fledged musical mission: to create music that moved people not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. With Ashley’s powerhouse vocals—earthy, ethereal, and steeped in soul—and Dave’s masterful guitar work and songwriting, the pair has become a living, breathing embodiment of what they call the Cosmic Cowgirl sound: a free-spirited, rootsy fusion of classic storytelling and cosmic grooves.
Now, as a duo, Ashley and Dave are embracing a new chapter—one that puts the spotlight squarely on the core of their music: connection. Stripped-down performances allow every lyric to breathe and every note to resonate, creating space for spontaneity, intimacy, and shared experience. Their shows feel less like concerts and more like conversations—rich with emotion, groove, and that elusive, magical feeling that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Whether they’re weaving harmonies under a starry sky or reimagining their full-band favorites in new acoustic forms, Ashley and Dave Beth continue to prove that Sugar Lime Blue isn’t just a band—it’s a journey. And now, more than ever, they’re inviting fans along for the ride.

Dustin Lowman
To the Loft from New York City …. singer-songwriter Dustin Lowman.
Dustin Lowman writes antisensical songs: lyric-driven tunes that deconstruct the nonsense of living. He is a self-taught singer, guitarist, harmonica player, and lyricist who patterns his style on troubadour types — Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Aimee Mann, Adrianne Lenker, Cass McCombs. Based in Brooklyn, Dustin performs regularly at venues in the borough, and has also appeared at the Poetry Foundation in Chicago, IL; The Bitter End in Manhattan, NY; and the Levitt Pavilion in Westport, CT.
Dustin has opened for Marcellus Hall (of Railroad Jerk), Will Dailey, and Ira Wolf, among others. He also hosts “His Back Pages,” a recurring Bob-Dylan-deep-cut-themed series at Cafe Wha? in Manhattan’s West Village. Of Dustin’s musical prospects, Livingston Taylor averred: “Dustin is on the path of a terrific musical career. His musical voice is waiting to be heard by those hungry for the next real thing.”
Originally from Westport, CT, Dustin began writing creatively in kindergarten. Sympathetic tales about Frankenstein and NFL-bound dragons (yes, really) in grade school gave way to confessional poetry and songs in high school. Now, Dustin’s songs straddle comedy and tragedy: A song entitled “Bankrupt & Crucified” may be his most optimistic, and “Rather Be Right” compares the merits of starting a religion and falling in love.

Stick Men
POWERHOUSE PROG ROCK COMES TO THE LOFT….SUPERGROUP STICK MEN !!
SOLD OUT!
LEGENDARY KING CRIMSON PLAYERS!
Stick Men is a powerhouse progressive rock trio featuring legendary musicians Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto and Markus Reuter. With a combined experience of over 100 million records sold worldwide, this supergroup brings unparalleled musicianship and innovation to every performance.
Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto, the powerhouse bass and drums of the group King Crimson for a few decades, bring that tradition to all their playing. Levin plays the Chapman Stick, from which the band takes its name. Having bass and guitar strings, the Chapman Stick functions at times like two instruments. Markus Reuter plays his self-designed touch style guitar – again covering much more ground than a guitar or a bass. And Mastelotto’s drumming encompasses not just the acoustic kit, but a unique electronic setup too, allowing him to add loops, samples, percussion, and more. Members of STICK MEN have recorded on albums that sold over 100 million records worldwide and all 4 individual members have played collectively in many different projects in the past 5 decades in over 90 countries worldwide.
Stick Men's music defies easy categorization, blending elements of Art Rock, Progressive Rock, and at times Progressive Meta. Their live shows are a testament to their improvisational prowess, featuring extended jams that showcase each member's virtuosity. The band also pays homage to their King Crimson roots by performing select pieces from that legendary group's catalog.
Stick Men continues to evolve and push the boundaries of progressive rock. Their unique instrumentation and combined centuries of experience make for an unforgettable live experience that will captivate audiences and leave them in awe of the trio's musical mastery. Tickets $40
