Stand-up comedy returns to the Loft! Our regular running series presented by Float Loaf Comedy is up for another installment with another great line-up of the East Coast’s best comics! This show features headliner Sonya White along with Clarilee and Nathan Scahill and features local favorites Tate Griffen and Corey Bush.

SONYA WHITE BIO:
Sonya White is based in Chicago, IL. Originally from Virginia, she has combined southern charm with big city street smarts to create a show that won her multiple appearances on CBS’s “Star Search” and a promo spot on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing 4”. Sonya has most recently appeared on a CMT production “Southern Fried Chicks” which is now available on DVD. The show is also touring throughout the country and abroad. Also, The Travel Channel followed Sonya in Chicago as she appeared in a reality TV show “Americas Worst Driver.” Sonya has performed on Oxygen’s “Girls Behaving Badly.” She has been featured on Comcast’s “Comedy Spotlight” and at “The U.S. Comedy Arts Festival 1999,” which aired on HBO, E, and Comedy Central.
White’s observational comedy is enhanced by dead-on impersonations and appropriate sound effects. Both her comedy stage show and her one-woman show, “Airing Dirty Laundry,” are based on real-life experiences and her fond-but irreverent-interactions with friends, family and the world at large. White’s television credits also include roles on the Fox Network’s “Nightshift,” The Family Channel’s sitcom “Big Brother Jake” and MTV’s national promotion for “Spring Break ’98.” She has played a colorful character on national promos for “The Jerry Springer Show,” and done cartoon impressions for The Cartoon Network’s “Pick Your Shorts.” Sonya is a member of both the Screen Actor’s Guild and The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
TATE GRIFFEN BIO:
Tate Griffen is a former professional wrestler who has tagged into the standup comedy arena. At 6'5" and 300 lbs, Tate's quick wit, storytelling style and sensitive demeanor provide a humorous contrast and reminds us that you can't always judge a book by it's cover!
Tate has appeared at comedy clubs and theaters from North Carolina to Wisconsin and has featured for national headliners Sonya White, Mark Riccadonna, John Knight, Johnny Watson and Bill Boronkay as well as having worked with Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Kevin Nash and more. Tate also recently released his first comedy album (Tate Griffen: No Stage Too Small) available through iTunes, Amazon and Google Play as well as dozens of other streaming services worldwide.
CORY BUSH BIO:
Cory is a founding member of FloatLoaf Comedy and is featured regularly in clubs and theaters up and down the east coast. His edgy but loveable nature makes him a hilarious addition to any comedy lineup! Cory has opened for Police Academy's Michael Winslow among others.
CLARILEE:
Clarilee is a Washington Pa based standup who has appeared at Arcade Theater in Pittsburgh as well as numerous Float Loaf Comedy Shows. Her fun and upbeat take on life growing up is both entertaining and hilarious.
NATE SCAHILL BIO:
Nathan Scahill is a Baltinore based comedian whonis a regular at Port Comedy Club, Church of Satire and Floatloaf Comedy events. His calm and disarming demeanor provides a relaxed vibe before the bomb drops!
