Frostburg State University Jazz Orchestra will get you in the mood for the Mardi Gras Jazz Crawl with modern works for big band including Bob Curnow's reworking of First Circle by Pat Metheny, Quintessence by Maryland's own Hank Levy, Abstraktes Bild by Fred Sturm, Maynard Fergusen's version of Birdland, and more. This 20-piece ensemble is led by Dr. Brent Weber and will feature many talented student soloists. Tickets sales will go towards supporting jazz programming in the Department of Music. Tickets $5.
